Where Quality Begins

Quality is critical at Interviewing Service of America and having the best Data Collectors is central to this process. Training is a critical component in the development of outstanding Data Collectors. A comprehensive initial orientation, followed by continuous training, delivers best-in-class data to our clients.

We spend a great deal of time and effort on our training program. It's one of the most demanding, detailed and comprehensive in the industry. It’s been an evolving program since 1982. In fact, only 1/3 of our candidates make it through to data collection. And those who graduate come away with the skills and confidence to communicate professionally with respondents.

Only the top 1/3 graduate

8 hours of workshop orientation

8 hours of CATI-skills training

2 hours of mock interviews and group critique

3 hours respondent-interaction training

3 hours of supervised telephone work

Continuous training further develops data collection skills
